Those 171 players that made it to KWS Sunday seemed to have a great afternoon, so thank you for your support in taking them there, to the coaches who herded them around and organised the games/tournaments on the astro, and the players themselves for really embracing the fundraising challenge. In all honesty, i don't think all of them knew why they were doing it - and the principle of buying something you hope is never needed is a bit of a struggle to get your head round.
Please do discuss with them why they were doing this, and hopefully make them feel proud of how they've helped to potentially save someone's life.
I am hoping there's a few of you out there who couldn't get the QR code to work, or did intend to donate but haven't yet, so here's the link to do it via Sumup
https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/QDJAK291
OR.... login into Pitchero, look in the shopping trolley/Shop and there's a link in there (it's quite obvious). We fully appreciate there's always requests for sponsorship and so on, but what can be donated will be put to a very worthwhile cause.
If anyone has access to Corporate Social Responsibility funds where they can fundmatch or similar please let me know. We are a registered charity, and corporate donations to charity can be offset against tax.
We do intend to get the renewals mails/invites out this week; the potential development of Acres Corner (our own home ground and clubhouse on Cravells Rd), the end of season day and proper day-job work has delayed renewals by just a handful of days.
